Through the years Arabian Company for Trading succeeded to win the trust of many sectors like large contracting firms, real estate developers, consulting firms, interior and decore, in addition to hospitality, and residential sectors until succeeded to be among to top 3 players and the main supplier for mega projects.
In 2012, Arabian Company for Trading- ACT acquired DORMAKABA Business Partnership, and since that time ACT strove to consolidate DORMAKABA brand name in the Egyptian market for ironmongery and glass accessories. ACT, took all procedures to list DORMAKABA brand name at every project, at every consultant firm, and to educate the Egyptian market about DORMAKABA brand name.
As a reward for Arabian Company for Trading- ACT, dormakaba headed by Mr. Jim Heng-Lee (The DORMAKABA CEO) granted Arabian Company for Trading- ACT presented by Eng. Fady Kakash (ACT-CEO) and Eng. Mostafa Abo El Gheit (ACT-GM) the dormakaba appreciation award for 2022.
Big 5 2018
In 2018 Arabian Company for Trading - ACT participated in the Big 5 Exhibition. The objective of this exhibition was to present ACT to the Egyptian construction market as the official business partner and the source of its original products for worldwide brands (DORMAKABA-MAB ASSA ABLOY-PRIME-GLASSIX) .
DORMA Business Conference
In October 2016, Arabian Company for Trading-ACT, represented as DORMA official business partner in Egypt participated in an event organized by DORMA at JW Mariot to explore DORMA' technical solutions related to the safety of buildings.
HACE Hotel Exhibitions 2016
Perhaps, Hotel And Cafe Exhibition-HACE October 2016, was one of the most successful and effective exhibitions presented by Arabian Company for Trading, where ACT exposed its interactive booth for the first time. The booth was installed with the concept of applications that customers could experience inside Hotels, Cafes, and business buildings.
The booth includes Automatic Door Operators, Glass Folding systems, Automatic Pergola systems, Exit, and emergency Doors Door Hardware sets, and Shower Cabinets.
IFTAR Ramadan 2022
In April 2022, Arabian Company for Trading cordially organized a Ramadan Iftar at Hilton Heliopolis Hotel. The event included guests from our VIP OK stores customers in addition to installers companies. At this event, ACT displayed its new range of Golden rose shower cabinet fittings, Altera Office partition system, and other recently arrived items. We enjoyed Ramadan's friendly - spiritual atmosphere and delicious catering.
Interbuild 2013
In November 2013, Arabian Company for Trading participated in Interbuild Exhibition at Cairo Conference Hall -Nasr City. This exhibition targeted the construction sector in Egypt and gathered major contractors and consultant firms. It's worth mentioning that it was the first time for ACT to participate in an exhibition and presented it's newly acquired brands MAB and DORMA.
MAB ASSA ABLOY Event - Tanta - 2018
Coping with MAB ASSA ABLOY Event organized at Tulip Hotel Maadi in 2018, Arabian Company for Trading arranged another event in Tanta and was also supported by MAB ASSABLOY Italy and represented by Mr.Kostis Telelis- ASSA ABLOY South Europe Market Region Manager and Mr. Roberto Tassoni -MAB ASSABLOY Product Manager.
At this event, Arabian Company for Trading-ACT, as MAB ASSA ABLOY's exclusive business partner in Egypt invited all its customers and resellers in Tanta and Alexandria.
The topic of the event was how to distinguish between fake and original MAB floor springs. In addition, ACT explored more features and advantages of owning and choosing the original MAB ASSA ABLOY Floor Spring.

Perhaps MAB ASSA ABLOY Event -Tulip Hotel Maadi - 2018, could be considered one of Arabian Company for Trading's important events as it was supported by MAB ASSABLOY Italy and represented by Mr.Kostis Telelis- ASSA ABLOY South Europe Market Region Manager and Mr. Roberto Tassoni -MAB ASSABLOY Product Manager. Arabian Company for Trading-ACT, as MAB ASSA ABLOY's exclusive business partner in Egypt, is responsible for educating the market about purchasing the original brand. Since MAB is one of the most recognized worldwide brands in door access solutions, MAB had been subject to fraud and copying, thus, ACT had to transfer its knowledge to the market of how to distinguish between fake and original MAB floor springs. In addition, ACT explored more features and advantages of owning and choosing the original MAB ASSA ABLOY Floor Spring.
Ramadan Gathering Event - Kempenski -2019
In 2019, Arabian Company for Trading arranged a gathering event with its VIP customers at Kempinski Hotel. The gathering included guests from consultant firms like EHAF, ECG, and DMG in addition to guests from Hassan Allam Sons, SIAC, and other major contracting companies. It was an elegant night covered with a friendly and warm atmosphere aroused by the Ramadan spirit.
SDEC - Fairmont 2016
In April 2016, Arabian Company for Trading- ACT - DORMA Certified Business Partner in Egypt participated in the Sustainable Development exhibition at the Fairmont Heliopolis & towers in Cairo Egypt.
The two-day exhibition and conference brought together senior-level decision-makers, sustainable eco-friendly property seekers, and participants to discuss and showcase the latest sustainable properties, products, and solutions as well as best practices for designing and building the developments of tomorrow.
ACT presented DORMA's premium access solutions for buildings and was represented by Eng. Mamdoh Mostfa - DORMA Sales Regional Manager for Egypt.
Windowrex Exhibition 2022
In April 2022, Arabian Company for Trading-ACT participated in Windowrex exhibition for Glass and Aluminium doors. ACT presented its new range of shower cabinet accessories, Alterra office partition system, digital locks, and cylinders in addition to announcing DORMAKABA's new procedures for how to detect the original DORMA BTS 65 Floor Spring from the fake one.
